Typographic Dissent : Men's Rights Movement

KENT STATE UNIVERSITY
Graduate School :: Typographic Dissent

The Men's Rights Movement (MRM) is made up of a range of organizations and individuals who focus on general societal issues and specific government services that have a negative impact on men and boys, or that fundamentally discriminate against them. In the early 1970s, the men's rights movement split from the men's liberation movement, with both organizations remaining part of the greater men's movement.

The poster should shock the viewer, be creative, and have its meaning immediately understood through the use of typography alone. The final solution should indicate a viewpoint that differs from the prevalent societal norm; it should represent a minority viewpoint.
